Before playing odst i was incredibly hyped but when i played it i got less and less impressed and now i dont play it but when modern warfare 2 came out i was also incredibly hyped when i played it i got more and more impressed
So true. On my O.D.S.T official prima guide it has a photo of the Master Chief in a troop hog underneath reads, " Someone we miss dearly." true I mean the firefight COME ON why isthere 4 chieftans at once all attacking you.
The entire Halo series was great but to end it like that? If chief doesn't come back in a reasonable storyline we will have to shove some nades up Bungie's ASS! Oh, yeah, and ODST SUCKS!!!
how many spartians are still known to be alive? the three from halo wars, then fred kelly and one other i believe with halsey in the dyson sphere, the chief, any others that i dont know? also at the end of halo wars when you see the face of the man in the cyrotube could that be the face of one of the red team?
It could be a forerunner planet, or a covneant planet, or maybe Bungie is working on that secret project, and we just dont know. It could also be home of a coveneant resistance.Or alliance,like that one group who didnt wanna make peace.Or Reach.
I know everyone thinks reach is gone because of the Nova bombs in first strike, but if you read the continuation, "Ghosts of Onyx" you'll know that the nova bombs were in fact taken back to a Covenant controlled star system and detonated, destroying at least 3 covenant controlled worlds, so reach is still there.
IF U WATCH HALO LEGENDS, THAT COULD BE THE FORERUNNER PLANET! It had that big symbol on it, and thats what is saw in that ending of halo 3, its deserted but could have realy awesome tech,and I heard bungie is doing some secret project that has an entire closed off area at the studios so nonone knows what it is!
In can be REACH... As we know from Halo book 3. "The First Strike" ViceAdmiral WhitComb armed some NOVA bombs before they escape from there... REACH isnīt nothing more than couple of meteorits now.
Its probably a sheild world that the forerunners left behind or might be on, would be so neat to have the chief meet a small branch of them that decided they shouldnt rebuild because they believed that they shouldnt gonvered the galaxy and let the other species live or die on their own, the circle on the planet looks slightly like the one from the halo legends origins anime, the forerunner planet the flood first land on. and i wonder what the forerunner called themselves when they were alive i really dont think they called themselves forerunner when they lived, maybe they fell out by the ship from halo wars, at the end of halo wars the a.i. said captian wake up somethings happaned.

I love the fact that you can't seem to spell out any of the words in your paragraph. In the first HALO, the Master Chief has been cryogenically frozen. Basically, his body temperature has been lowered to the point that his body enters sleep. When they opened the chamber, it exposed the MJOLNIR suit, and the Master Chief's body, to normal heat levels, waking him up from his cryogenic suspension. And it's a comic, it wouldn't matter whether or not he was frozen

oops i misunderstood a reply i saw, did bungie confirm onyx wasnt in the milky way, or the planet chief is next to is'nt? cause if chief is in another galaxy he's screwed. btw that idea about chiefs planet being ANOTHER SHIELD WORLD FULL OF SENTELS THAT WILL TRY TO FRY HIM TO A CINDER is a clever idea.
what? onyx not even in the milky way? that doesnt make sense, human slipspace drives cant go very far very fast, it takes weeks to get from one planet to another, how would dr. halsey and kelly gotten all the way to ANOTHER FREAKING GALAXY in what seemed like just a day or so? i can understand with fred linda and will, they had a covenant ship, but dr. halsey and kelly shouldnt have gotten there that fast, and didnt the book say it was in covenant controlled space? and maybe that planet could be threshold? the gas giant next to the first halo? and you can so make halo all about chief, they should have made odst just a side game, and made a halo 4 with chief being found finaly, and maybe the brutes could be assaulting earth? i find it hard to belive the brutes back at their home world would let a chance like that pass.
Just because cheif is headed for the planet doesn't prove a thing except there is a planet that the cheif is drifting too. All the sources I read have said the Onyx the planet was destroyed as the sentinels disbanded, I even have the book ghosts of Onyx(havn't read it in a while though) Kurt-051 detonated 2 Fernis class warheads in the "core" of Onyx. the planet was essentially destroyed. The remaining Spartans(EXCEPT Cheif), Halsey, and a couple stasis pods made it into the slipspace portal inside Onyx before the nukes went off and ended up in what is assumed to be the inside of a dyson sphere or shield world.
MY THEORY is that the Planet chief is drifting too is a planet LIKE Onyx, possibly containing another slipspace portal that leads to the same dyson sphere as Halsey and the other spartans. There is no proof that the "legendary" planet, as it's unofficially known, is even in the milky way. the portal on earth could transport ships outside the galaxy to the Ark in seconds, there's just not enough evidence.

wow, people check your sources, Onyx is in the milkey way and turned out to be made of trillions of sentinels, which began to deisband afer the standby signal was sent out by delta halo, not to mention a spartan detonated 2 nukes in the "core"
