and the planet can't be onyx, it got destroyed, but out of pure speculation it could be a planet like onyx that has a portal leading to the same installation as the spartans and the doctor.

That thing in the background is the planet Onyx, where the other spartans are. Obviously they are going to land there and meet up with Dr.Hasley and the other Spartans, that survived Reach of course! But its glad to see Zzombie again.
