Another Halo Comic Strip

There were two games I was HIGHLY anticipating for the XboX this year. One should be obvious since I spend an unhealthy amount of time drawing comics based on it. The other, is Mass Effect. I'm hoping that by the time you read this comic I've already started diving into it's outer space goodness.

Also, someone needs to keep a running count of how many "guest" appearances have been in this comic! And a little hint for Thursday's strip, the tally will probably double in one day!

Poor Ratchet. He looks sad... Mass effect is a kick @$$ game, but it doesn't compare to Halo 3!*

and secondly, Snake wouldnt bend over and take that from anyone, if there is anything in this universe short of a nuclear bomb that can kill the chief, it would be solid snake.

SwampFox is absolutely correct, Master Chief is a Navy rank and he was trained as a Navy soldier, some of the best evidence of this is the fact that the entire SPARTAN II project was overseen by ONI (Office of NAVAL Intelligence).

actually mc is navy, his rank denotes. as far as i know the marines don have the rank of "master chief" but i might be wrong. in any case the ranking and service branches are different in halo-verse than in actuality.

Marines vs Navy

Actually, the marines are a separate branch of the military. They are NOT the navy, the navy simply taxi's them around to where they need to go. Navy wears little sailors hats and swabs the poop deck, the marines are insane and run into gunfights trying to scare the enemy with the sound of their voice... I'd say their a bit different.

Well, Chaff would indeed immobilize his armor, but really all he'd have to do is equip a ration, and arm and aim the Stinger and BOOM! No more MC, cause Spartans sheilds suck, and you've seen how much punishment Snake can take before he needs to use a ration. Sorry for my long windedness.

not quite actully, the hud in his helmet is all electronical. as well as his suit chaff would give snake a few second of time were john 117 mjollnir armour would be offline what would be even better is an emp blast

That wouldn't work because Chaff grenades can only "blind" machines that use sensors/lasers to see objects around them, Master Chief looks through a visor...

The Samus vs. MC strip counts. I totally forgot about that one; -1 for me.

...but I added Jake Dunn because Crysis is awesome, and the Nano-suit's abilities rock. Still couldn't beat the MC, though. :D

If anything, a mega slug-fest (with humor, of course) with all of the major console characters would be hilarious.

Snake wouldn't have an issue with playing Mass Effect, since he's not owned by Sony. Kojima just likes developing for PlayStation first.

Seriously awesome...

I gotta say, I look forward to reading AHCS in addition to the usual One One Se7ens because they're almost always hilarious. Too bad I don't have a 360 for "Mass Effect"; the plot seems interesting.

Hmm...you should do one a strip that compares MC's armor to another character's "similar" armor (Samus, Jake Dunn of "Crysis," etc.).
