Another Halo Comic Strip

100 - Holy crap, I've made 100 of these?

UPDATE:

It appears that some people are having issues with finding the guest comics. They have their own nice new section. You can get there by scrolling to the top of this page and clicking on "Guest Strips" in the link bar at the top of the page.

As of now, I am officially on hiatus. I'd like to point out that despite what I put in the comic, Louis has actually been very supportive of my need for a break. But I thought it might be fun to have a gag at his expense for the 100th comic. (All in good fun of course)

Doing this comic has been wonderful and I really hate to take off, but I need to spend some time actually playing Halo to get myself reinspired. I'm sure everyone understands that, but for the sake of keeping people interested I've decided to ask some of my artist buddies to offer some guest comics. They're all good guys and great artists (or I wouldn't trust them with my comic). While I'm away, please treat my friends, who've offered their time and talent to help me out, with respect.

While I'm away I'll still be checking the e-mail address and my RT & DevArt profiles so if anyone needs to tell or ask me something feel free. Nasty e-mails will not be answered. Nor will e-mails that point out how much better my friends are at drawing. I already know that. Also, and I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but please don't send requests for me to do personal drawings for you. One of the reasons I'm taking some time off is that I have some other things I want to work on.

Starting next week, you'll be seeing comics written and drawn by my good friend, Keith Jones. He's a really great guy and I think you'll enjoy his sense of humor and his visual style. I know I do. :)

Hmm SPARTAN-A984 nice name change. I take it with the -A984 you're referring to the Spartans of the SPARTAN III program, but from memory there weren't that many (984) SPARTAN III's in Alpha company were there? Just food for thought.

I think guest strips should be a (semi?) regular occurrence. If the guest artist(s) are willing to put in the time, it'd be great to have such hilarity that much more frequently.

Hmm... Well it's been 90+ comments and I still can't figure out what to say about AHCS #100. Not that there's anything bad about it I just can't think of the words that can describe your awesomeness and honesty and commitment to this thing, Zzomb13. Now I know this has been said many times but you so deserve a break, away with your muse. Nice work having Louis put you in the basement for 2 weeks to keep continuity in the AHCS-verse. LOL I reckon he's always threatening people with that plasma rifle. And the guest comics are awesome and a great retention tool for the site. So... Yeah
