Not to rain on anyone's parade, but, if you look closely, either Bob or Doug appeared in #14 SUCKTACULAR, staring as the plasma grenade stuck to ZZombie13. Look, it has eyes!

Bungie gives out recon for seeing things that they like, think are funny, of are just plain unique. he got recon because it was hillarious but if you repeat it it won't get you recon because it's been done. try getting killed by spike grenade collateral damage, that's always funny and hardly anyone's posted it. so if you want to get recon and look (1337) do something unique... and don't spam the furims with "can i haz reconz" messages, 'cause they hate that.
I noticed that you're giving them actual faces now, instead of just eyes and a mouth on a plasma grenade. I noticed a little bit in #79 as well, though it's more so in this comic. Changing the look a bit at a time? Subtle.
How does a bullet kill? It travels at a high speed and impacts. Same with a cone. Despite being made of soft rubber, the force from the cone and the speed can kill you.
Why does a simple whack of a metal gun damage shielding?
Kinetic energy my friend. A coin fired from a sniper rifle will pierce a skull. So think of a cone travelling at fast speeds and hitting armour. Kinetic energy is at work.
I wonder if Traffic Cones can set off plasma grenades...
