Surprisingly, when my 360 died it wasn't due to red ring. The DVD drive failed and wouldn't read the discs. Annoying as hell. We had to wait two weeks for them to send the BOX we had to send it to them in, and we mailed it to them about two weeks ago. I'm still waiting.

Hey, mine's the only one with a green light, so let me know if you find it, k? ;)

oh. dont worry buddy. youll have that wonderful, joyous occasion sometime soon. thats how it happened to me. happened to my friend, i thought "wow, that sucks. it probably wont happen to me since he has an older one" and not long after, i got to have a nice long chat with somebody in god-knows where (well, now we know actually) who barely speaks engrish about getting my xbox fixed. so dont worry. it will hit ya when ya least expect it. and sorry bout my rant. (and anyway, ive had so few problems since i got my "refurbished" xbox back in late august after a 3 week wait. so no worries.)
