50 - Installation Disintegration: Part 1

I know making fun of the Star Wars prequels isn't exactly "cutting edge" humor or whatever... but I still hold a grudge at all three of them. Star Wars WAS my childhood. Well that, GIJoe, and Transformers. But MOSTLY it was Star Wars.

like the moniters name wish tartarus was in it eh kyel
#38 - shaun - 07/14/2009 - 04:42
new character idea
how about a strip with tartarus or a prophet hierarch?
#37 - kyle - 06/01/2009 - 16:02
inacuracy
That would not be the Moniters real number. the serieal numbers are the instalation number to the power of seven.
and those are marathon-class cruisers not destroyers
#36 - HALO fanatic - 04/08/2009 - 05:31
HAHA YES! I was one of those nerds.
#35 - lora - 05/22/2008 - 13:08
I agree with this comic.
Really... I mean when the original trilogy came out on DVD the first time, I was psyched... till I got to the end of ROTJ.
#34 - MalcanAlunza - 03/11/2008 - 13:46
Correct
MongooseRoadkill is correct in the pattern but there is only one more installation so poor 823543 *insert odd, cryptic name here* never got to be a moniter.
#33 - Yoyo - 02/22/2008 - 21:02
Love the Serries
Then Next two installations Monitor numbers are 117649 and 823543
#32 - MongooseRoadkill - 02/07/2008 - 22:41
I feel like a nerd.
I probably sound like a complete geek, but the moniter of installation 06 has the serial number 16807 (7 to the 5th power) based on Bungie's favorite number, 7.

With all due respect,
Yoyo Tribal
#31 - Yoyo - 02/01/2008 - 21:26
well
My big toe with a little face drawn on it would have been a better Anakin Skywalker.

that would be a cool idea for a strip.
#30 - chris119 - 01/29/2008 - 20:48
Crossover
I'd like to see a crossover with Transformers. Starscream's a banshee, Bumblebee's a mangoose: Stuff like that. I'd be hilarious.

But the comics are hilarious as it is. Good job!!! I laugh everytime!!!
#29 - Crazy D - 01/29/2008 - 06:09
i didn't mind Hayden, but i gre up with the neies coz im yunger than u lot, still was a funny comic, keep it up, needs more elites
#28 - Sir FloodBane - 01/29/2008 - 05:19
Shouldn't the monitor's number be "823543" because 343 is 7 to the power of three and 2401 is seven to the power of 4. Seven to the power of seven (installation 06) would be 823543.

No. It shouldn't.
#27 - ZZoMBiE13 - 01/28/2008 - 22:02

Elites
can you make one with a bunch of elites by the way lol
#25 - zomnnnnnnnnnnnniencsdcsfdsddasdf - 01/28/2008 - 20:39
I like the way you drew the ship, very cool. It kinda looks like an Assualt Rifle, actually... still awesome, though.
#24 - pittofdoom117 - 01/28/2008 - 19:39
Wentworth Miller from prisonbreak would have been a better Anakin
My big toe with a little face drawn on it would have been a better Anakin Skywalker.

But I'm sure that Miller guy is awesome. Not trying to slight him in any way.
#23 - ZZoMBiE13 - 01/28/2008 - 18:30
Yeah
Hayden Christensen is a horrible actor. Wentworth Miller from prisonbreak would have been a better Anakin (and he looks exactly the same, and posesses a helluva lot more acting skill).
#22 - Psycho78 - 01/28/2008 - 18:08
haha
well, did you thought too, that darth vader was black? so did i, until the uncovering of the mask. and yea, the sequels where not cool as the other ones, even if im not so fun of star wars. i prefer....

#21 - chris119 - 01/28/2008 - 16:33

#18 - BACON - 01/28/2008 - 14:48
Names (and stuff about Star Wars)
I love the name of the ship and of the monitor.
Enormous Soubriquet. HA!
And also i know what you mean about Star Wars, I dont hold much love for the Prequels, and seening as i also grew up with the original trilogy, they're still my favorite
#17 - SwampFox - 01/28/2008 - 14:36
I love the names you find.
Please keep them up, I laughed out loud at Verbose Nomenclature, and then at Enormous Soubriquet, as soon as I found the definition for "soubriquet". :-D
#16 - Stormfury - 01/28/2008 - 14:32
You like GI Joe?
I would love some GI Joe / Halo cross over action!

Nice work on the comic, keep it up. I like the idea of a story arc.
#15 - Leviathan - 01/28/2008 - 13:59
What's with the monitor's number?
They're all supposed to be powers of 7, remember?

Nice strip, all the same!
#14 - JonnyOThan - 01/28/2008 - 13:07
Lol, that's great. Thanks for the comic, Zombie. Also, what's with the huge name of the monitor?
#13 - Blake - 01/28/2008 - 12:34
"Those are refit/repair aparatus stradling the Destroyers, right?
Yes, that is correct. They are being built in a shipyard. The bottom bit is the actual ship. I reckon it'll make more sense after tomorrows strip. :-)
#23 - ZZoMBiE13 - 01/28/2008 - 02:21"

or possibly cause more confusion for those who do not read the comments ;)
#12 - the Light Show - 01/28/2008 - 12:31
Lol! "Verbose Nomenclature" Very funny.
Finally someone notices. Thank you!
#11 - ZZoMBiE13 - 01/28/2008 - 12:02
Lol! "Verbose Nomenclature" Very funny.
#10 - Michael Archer - 01/28/2008 - 11:32
On hindsight I realise they were refit stations, but they still looked purdy :)
#9 - mub - 01/28/2008 - 11:18
Hayden Christiansen - overactor extraordinaire

Nice strip, didn't really notice the re-used graphics, myself :P

Bring back the big steel backbone frames for the ships! They looked awesome
#8 - mub - 01/28/2008 - 11:16
yea.....prequals suck.....but they do explain alot
#7 - L0yD3 R33d - 01/28/2008 - 10:56
Hmm. reusing the graphics was a little cheap but since its not a Halo strip, its ok.
You're gonna want to skip out on the rest of this week then bud.

B-)
#6 - ZZoMBiE13 - 01/28/2008 - 09:40
Nice.
To all those complaining about the re-used pictures:
He is making one of these (fully coloured and everything)every day! give the guy a break!

BTW I like the backgrounds!
#5 - Gatchaman UK - 01/28/2008 - 09:22
wheres the big thing
Where is the big thing that was on top of the destroyers in the last episode because i thought those were the weapons we would use or the slipspace drive
#4 - Dark lord - 01/28/2008 - 08:51
whahahahaha! i haven't laughed this hard for nearly a year! great job!

i thought it was about time i stopped being lazy and put up a comment. ;-) i just like to say, i really love your strips!
#3 - Lea - 01/28/2008 - 08:44
Thats where he went!
I was wondering where that bugger went!
#2 - Rockdio - 01/28/2008 - 06:35
Hmm. reusing the graphics was a little cheap but since its not a Halo strip, its ok.
Gotta agree with you that the 3 'pre-qual' movies were a bit of a let down. But i liked the names you gave the ship and the moniter.
#1 - Alonsis2 - 01/28/2008 - 06:21
