Halo 3 Controller

I think the artwork on the controller is great, I own one myself. I can't speak as to wheather T-Mac is a jerk in person or not, but his art kicks ass. Anyway I think zombie is right its the whole thing about exploiting the chief on the controller, but it doesn't bother me.

I think Todd McFarlane is a fantastic artist. I bought one of the Master Chief controllers when I picked up my copy of Halo3.
I don't really know if it's the controller itself, or the idea of selling out the Chief that people are upset about.
Either way I've always had mixed feelings about Todd Mac. I like his artwork but he's always come off as something of a jerk when I've seen him interviewed. Like doing comics was slumming for him or something. Of course people actually pay for his artwork and he's pretty much made of money now. So who am I to judge, right?

I just wanted to know what you thught of everybody sayin that the artwork on McFarlene's Halo 3 controllers sucked. I think it's great, as is all his work, in both comics and action figures. I just don't see why everybody hates it.
